Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the appointment of Rameez Raja as Chairman PCB.
According to sources, the Prime Minister’s Office called Rameez Raja and informed him about the appointment of the PCB chairman.
“I have accepted the post of PCB chairman,” former captain Rameez Raja told a foreign website.
He said that it is a great honor for me to be the Chairman of PCB, my goal is to achieve improvement.
The former Test cricketer also spoke and said, “Thank you for the confidence of the Prime Minister. I need support and prayers.”
Former cricketer Rameez Raja was part of the Pakistan team from 1984 to 1997. He played 57 Tests and 198 ODIs for Pakistan.
Rameez Raja also captained the Pakistan team in the 1995 series against Sri Lanka. He also served as the chief executive of the PCB in 2004.
