New oil and gas reserves have been discovered at four locations in Saudi Arabia.
According to a foreign news agency, the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia has confirmed that new oil and gas reserves have been discovered in 4 different places in the kingdom. In this regard, the Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz said oil was discovered at the Al-Resh well, west of the Saudi city of Dhahran, where 4452 barrels of oil could be extracted daily from Well No. 2, as well as 3.2 million cubic feet of gas per day.
He said that well No. 3 to 2745 barrels of oil per day while 3 million cubic feet of gas can be extracted in one day, besides well No. 4 to 3654 barrels of oil and 1.6 million cubic feet of gas can be expected to be extracted. It has been reported that Saudi Arabia’s largest company Aramco has also found gas reserves from the Al-Munjiz well, from which 18 million cubic feet of gas is expected to be extracted daily, and 32 million cubic feet of gas per day from the nearby Al-Sahba well.
