Former Saudi intelligence chief Prince Turki al-Faisal says he asked Mullah Omar to extradite Osama bin Laden.

This was stated by Prince Turki Al-Faisal, the former head of Saudi intelligence, in an interview with Saudi TV.

He said that Mullah Omar had refused to hand over Osama bin Laden to Saudi Arabia. If Osama bin Laden had been handed over to us, it would not have been 9/11.

Prince Turki al-Faisal said then-Afghan President Hamid Karzai had asked King Abdullah to mediate between the Taliban and the Afghan government.

He said King Abdullah had refused to mediate until the Taliban severed ties with al-Qaeda.

The former head of Saudi intelligence says the story does not end with the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, Afghanistan’s neighbors have their own interests, they are looking for their own benefit.

Turki Al-Faisal also says that the situation is complicated in this regard. I will soon publish a book on Afghanistan.
