The long-standing speculation surrounding Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis star Sania Mirza’s separation has taken a new turn following a startling revelation by Shoaib’s sister.
While Sania and her family have remained silent following the split, Shoaib’s sister has now claimed that Sania divorced him because she was “tired of Shoaib’s affairs.”
Following his separation, Shoaib moved on with his third marriage to Pakistani actress Sana Javed, frequently making headlines amid criticism. However, his family’s absence from the wedding raised questions, which his sister has now addressed.
In a widely discussed interview, Shoaib’s sister reportedly confirmed that “our entire family chose not to attend Shoaib’s wedding with Sana Javed.”
Meanwhile, Sania’s sister, Anam Mirza, had earlier confirmed in January 2024 that Sania had divorced Shoaib months before his marriage to Sana Javed.
Requesting privacy, Anam wrote on Instagram, “Sania had divorced Shoaib Malik a few months ago. We wish her all the best for her new journey.”
Shoaib Malik’s personal life has long been a topic of public interest. His first marriage to Ayesha Siddiqui ended in 2010, after which he tied the knot with Sania Mirza. Over the years, there were also rumours of his alleged relationship with actress Sayali Bhagat, which he denied.
However, just months after parting ways with Sania in January 2024, Shoaib’s sudden wedding photos with Sana Javed surfaced.
