The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the final result of the CSS examination 2020 for the recruitment against BS-17 posts under the federal government.
Maheen Hassan has topped the CSS 2020 exams and has been recommended to PASS on General Merit. Yasir Nazir stood 2nd in the CSS 2020 and has been recommended to PASS on General Merit as well. Tazeen Zafar stood 3rd in CSS 2020 and has topped the exams from Punjab. She has been recommended to PAS.
Muhammad Hammad Hamid stood 12th in CSS 2020 and has topped the exams from Balochistan. He has been recommended to PASS Babar Ali stood 43rd in CSS 2020 and has topped the exams from Sindh Rural. He has been recommended to PSP. Nida Saman clinched 44th position in CSS 2020 and has topped the exams from Azad Jammu and Kashmir. She has been also recommended to PSP.
Syeda Jasiah Fatima claimed the 101st position in CSS 2020 and has topped the exams from Sindh Urban. She has been recommended to FSP. Ahmad Murtaza stood 116th in CSS 2020 and has topped the exams from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has been recommended to PAS. Shaista Jabeen Munawar stood 118th in CSS 2020 has topped the exams from Gilgit Baltistan and FATA. She has been recommended to PASS.
Initially, 39,630 candidates had applied for the CSS 2020 exams. Only 18,553 candidates appeared in the written part of the CSS 2020 exams and 376 cleared the written test. Out of 376 candidates who passed the written part of CSS 2020, 221 have been recommended by the FPSC to various groups and services for the final appointment.
Of the candidates recommended for appointment by the FPSC, 142 are male and 79 are female. The passing percentage of CSS 2020 exams is 1.96% against 2.51% of CSS 2019. Candidates recommended by the FPSC are directed to contact Section Officer (T-V) Establishment Division Islamabad for further correspondence.
