Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has been appointed as the new CCPO Lahore, Notification issued
CCPO Lahore Umar Sheikh has been transferred. According to details, Lahore CCPO Lahore has been transferred, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has approved the removal of CCPO Lahore Umar Sheikh. The Punjab Chief Minister had yesterday approved various exchanges in the police.
A notification has also been issued to replace CCPO Lahore Umar Sheikh. Umar Sheikh has been posted as Deputy Commandant Punjab Constabulary. Ghulam Mehmood Dogar has been posted as the new CCPO Lahore. New CPOs are also stationed at Lahore RPO Faisalabad. Ghulam Mehmood Dogar was also interviewed at the Chief Minister’s House some time ago.
It may be recalled that the police department used to receive many complaints against CCPO Umar Sheikh. There was a bitter exchange between CCPO Umar Sheikh and SPCI. But on the other hand, some officials working in the police department appreciate the personality of CCPO Lahore Umar Sheikh and also condemned the rhetoric against him.
Some do not compromise on the law and that is why many people dislike them because they want the rule of law and are committed to it.
Umar Sheikh has come under fire for making controversial statements in a motorway abuse case. It has been reported that Umar Sheikh was removed from his post due to rising crime in Lahore.
