After his health became worse throughout the flight, the air ambulance carrying comedian Umer Sharif to the United States made an emergency landing in Germany on Wednesday.
Germany authorized the emergency landing on moral grounds and issued the comedian and his wife a 15-day visa. The visit, however, is only intended to last a day to provide emergency care to the ailing star.
Sharif’s wife, Ghazal, explained that Sharif needed to remain since he developed a fever as a result of his fatigue. She expressed her gratitude to the German officials for facilitating the visa process.
Yesterday, an air ambulance carrying comedian Umer Sharif departed from Karachi International Airport to the United States.
Umer Sharif was taken to the airport in an ambulance from a private hospital in the city, where doctors had earlier in the day declared him suitable to transfer to the United States for effective therapy.
