Another honor of Youth Parliament Pakistan. The United Nations has invited a delegation to the youth parliament of Pakistan for consultative status. The United Nations bestows this status on international organizations worldwide. After this registration, the Youth Parliament will be formally associated with the United Nations, under which they will be able to organize various events through the United Nations, in addition to participating in various United Nations events. Youth Parliament Pakistan also got formal affiliation with the Parliament of Pakistan last year.
The Youth Parliament has campaigned on various issues at the global level, especially climate change and code awareness campaigns. The United Nations through President Youth Parliament Ubaid Qureshi informed about this meeting. The meeting will be held in the last week of January in New York USA which Chairman Abrarul Haq and President Obaid Qureshi will attend.
Obaid Qureshi participated in the meeting of the United Nations President and Organization of Heads of State and headed international delegations and also represented at several forums. Obaid Qureshi belongs to Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir and he says that it is an honor for him to be a Pakistani and a Kashmiri.
