Antonio Guterres says Jewish settlement in Occupied Palestine is illegal under international law
UN chief Antonio Guterres has warned Israel to stop implementing Prime Minister Netanyahu’s recent order to build about 1,000 new homes in East Jerusalem, where Jews will be housed.
Antonio Guterres said that the borders of Palestine should be returned to them as they were before 1967 and that the kind of illegal Jewish settlements that have taken place in occupied Palestine should be returned to Israel with no rights and all this settlement is illegal under international law.
Therefore, Israel should reverse its decision to build new homes and not immediately settle any such settlement, but give Palestine its basic right and determine its border under 1967.
