The United States has expressed concern over violence against other minorities in India, including Muslims.
Releasing the annual report on human rights, the US Secretary of State said that Muslims and lower-caste groups in India face the greatest threats.
The US report also cites figures from the Indian Interior Ministry’s 2016-2017 report, which said 86 people were killed and 2,231 injured in sectarian riots and religious violence in the same year.
