Washington – US President Joe Biden has assured Israeli President Reuben Rivlin that he will never allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons.

According to the World News Agency, Israeli President Reuben Rivlin met with US President Joe Biden at the White House during which issues of mutual interest were discussed and important decisions were made, especially on the situation in the Middle East.

The Israeli president expressed strong concerns about Iran’s violation of the nuclear deal and the development of nuclear weapons, saying the United States should make a re-accession to the 2015 global nuclear deal conditional on the closure of Iran’s nuclear plant.

On the occasion, US President Joe Biden also expressed concern over Iran’s nuclear weapons program and assured the Israeli president that during his tenure, Iran would never be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.

The Israeli president thanked the US president for his commitment and said that cooperation between the two countries needed to be further enhanced in the context of the Middle East. We must work together against Iranian intervention and militancy.
