For the last few days, there has been a heated war between journalists in which they are terming each other as traitors.
In fact, the fight started when a famous YouTuber interviewed Prime Minister Imran Khan for which they were mocked by some senior journalists.
This was the moment when a social media fight begun between the senior and junior journalists.
This fight escalated when journalist Asad Toor was beaten at his home in Islamabad a few days back for which he blamed the intelligence agencies without having any proof.
Meanwhile, instead of diffusing the tensions, Hamid Mir’s statement and blames over the status of intelligence agencies added fuel to the fire.
In reaction to all this, junior journalists, especially Makhdoom Shahabuddin, stepped out in favor of the Pak Army and started exposing Hamid Mir and alleged that Hamid Mir’s Facebook page was allegedly being run from India and is used as a propaganda tool against Pakistan and its institutions.
it must be noted that the Facebook page with the name of Hamid Mir allegedly being run from India was deleted moments later Makhdoom Shahabuddin exposed it.
Meanwhile, Makhdoom Shahabuddin also exposed another senior journalist, Asma Shirazi, and alleged that she was associated with the Freedom Network website, which was allegedly involved in spreading anti-Pakistan propaganda, which also was later removed.
At the moment, it seems that junior journalists have hit the ground running.
