Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has advised the PML-N to call Atif Aslam instead of Maryam Nawaz in the October 16 Jalsa.
Fawad Chaudhry has shared a short video of him at a talk show on his Twitter account. In the video, he and PML-N leader Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha were talking about the October 16 rally in Gujranwala.
During the show, the anchor asked Maryam Nawaz to lead the meeting instead of Shahbaz Sharif. Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha termed PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz as a crowd puller.
He further said, our party has to lead us with such a servant in whose meeting or rally people come out of the house on their own, so we do not have to call people.
Responding to Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha’s remark, Fawad Chaudhry said, “Do it Call Atif Aslam.” To which Mohsin said, Atif does not have the calibre. Fawad said call Ataullah Issa Khelvi. The host and Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha also laughed at Fawad Chaudhry’s statement.
It may be mentioned that the opposition Ittihad PMD is holding a rally in Gujranwala today. Which will be hosted by PML-N while Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal Bhutto and Maulana Fazlur Rehman will address the rally.
