Popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, and his wife Aroob Jatoi have been arrested by Lahore police for displaying illegal weapons on social media.
The Model Town Organized Crime Unit reportedly acted after the couple posted photos on Instagram showcasing firearms. In addition to this, they are accused of promoting anti-government slogans, according to sources, though no official statement has been released. Ducky Bhai, known for his popular family vlogs with millions of daily views, has a large following of over eight million subscribers on YouTube. Fans are expressing concern for the couple’s safety and hope for their quick release.
This is not the first time the couple has been in the spotlight. Aroob Jatoi previously fell victim to a deepfake video, and the pair had offered a one-million-rupee reward for information about the perpetrator.
Recent reports indicate that Saad and Aroob were released after a brief detention. Both reportedly issued a written apology, expressing regret, after which the police decided to release them without pressing further charges.
This incident follows the recent arrest of another social media influencer, Nadeem Mubarak, known as Nadeem Nani Wala, who was detained in Lahore for using an illegal personalized number plate.
