Zimbabwe team arrives in Pakistan to participate in T20 and ODI series. Chairman Zimbabwe Cricket Tiwanga Moklani and Acting MD Guillaume Makoni arrived in Pakistan yesterday after which the rest of the team arrived in Pakistan this morning.
However, The Zimbabwean team will stay in quarantine for a week and then start training at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will feature three ODIs and three T20I matches, starting October 30.
The ODI series starting October 30 is essential for Pakistan as it marks the beginning of the International Cricket Council’s World Cup Super League. while the top seven teams are eligible to participate directly in the event, while the Indian team has already qualified as hosts.
But the ICC has introduced the Super League to provide one-day cricket and will serve as a qualifier for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
