A worker who stayed in a quarantined hotel for some patients with the covid in Taiwan has been fined 3,500 dollars for stepping out for just eight seconds. This hotel is located in Kaohsiung city.

This was revealed by CCTV footage showing a Filipino worker in a red dress coming out of his room for just a few seconds before the guard came in front of him. The hotel also houses several quarantine patients. As soon as the laborer left the hotel for a while, he appeared in the CCTV footage, and at the same time, the caretaker saw him. After which, he could be seen walking back towards his room.

Immediately after that, the hotel management contacted the health department and was fined one lakh Taiwan dollars, which is equivalent to 3500 US dollars or 500,000 Pakistani rupees. This is because under Taiwanese law, quarantine is not allowed at all, and those staying in the room are not allowed to leave in any way, even if only for a second.
