Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to relaunch the Air Safari flights on June 12 this year.

The decision is taken to boost up the tourism sector in the country.

It must be noted that the Safari flights were stopped some two years back due to difficulties in flight operations.

According to an official of PIA, the one-way flight from Islamabad to Skardu will cost Rs 25000.

Renamed with the name of prominent mountaineer Ali Sadpara, ‘Sadpara Air Safari’ will operate every Saturday from the New Islamabad Airport and fly over the snow-capped peaks including K2, Nanga Parbat and the famous Saif ul Maluk lake.
