The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated a huge amount of Rs5 billion for the solarization projects across the province which includes the solarization of all Jamia mosques across the province.
The KP Assembly was informed on Friday that the solarization projects also included the complete solarization of Jamia mosques across the province.
The minister said that when the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government came into power contribution of KP was 10 percent in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and now it is 15 percent with $40 billion which is reflecting excellent planning and development by the department concerned.
Akbar Ayub said that Rs2 billion would be spent on development and beautification of Peshawar. He said Chief Minster Mahmood Khan visited chamber of the opposition leader and assured him to give a positive consideration to demands and suggestion of the opposition lawmakers in development schemes.
