Oil is reportedly found during drilling water bore in Islamabad’s H/13 area. When the news came out, dozens of local residents began to bore for “oil.”
They installed suction machines for pumping out “oil” and they started to sell it before the local government sealed the area.
Responding to the reports, Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Hamza Shafqat tweeted, “All of these pumps are currently sealed.”
‘Local sold out the oil for brick kilns,’ added Abdullah Khan, assistant commissary, and the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) are investigating the issue.
