Skardu airport in Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan will soon start international flights operations from Urumqi (Xinjiang, China) to Skardu and Kathmandu (Nepal) to Skardu routes have been in the plan, to facilitate tourists traveling from China and Nepal, for trekking through the valley of giants.

A senior official told Pak Affairs that the flights will be started soon as the planning for starting the international flights from Skardu airport were almost completed.
