Mossad’s head visits UAE for security talks

The head of Israel’s Intelligence service visited the UAE for security cooperation. The visit came after two countries recently announced the establishment of diplomatic relations. Mossad Chief Yossi Cohen met UAE’s national security adviser, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss the UAE-Israeli security cooperation. According to official Emirates News Agency-WAM, “The two sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of security as well as exchanged points of view on regional developments and on issues of common interest” including efforts to contain COVID-19.” The visit is seen as new regional development as more Gulf countries are ready to follow the lead.
