National High Performance Center appoint former Pakistan Cricketers as a Coach.

Muhammad Yousuf, Pakistan’s fourth batsman in Test cricket and the second best batsman in one-day international cricket, has been appointed as a batting coach at the National High Performance Center in Lahore. He scored 7530 runs in Test cricket and 9720 runs in ODI cricket during his international cricket career from 1998 to 2010.
Apart from Muhamad Yousuf, Atiq uz Zaman and Mohammad Zahid will be fielding / wicket-keeping and fast bowling coaches at the National High Performance Center respectively.
In addition to the three appointments, Mushtaq Ahmed is already serving as a Spin Bowling Consultant at the National High Performance Center, in addition to this, all four coaches will also support the national cricket team’s sports staff in order to identify and improve the problems of players.
Former international cricketers Abdul Razzaq, Aizaz Cheema, Basit Ali, Faisal Iqbal, Ghulam Ali, Humayun Farhat, Irfan Fazal and Zafar Iqbal will coach the associations in the domestic season 21-2020. Apart from Abdul Razzaq (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Basit Ali (Sindh), Faisal Iqbal (Balochistan) and Shahid Anwar (Central Punjab), Abdul Rehman (Southern Punjab) and Muhammad Waseem (Northern) will also be part of Misbah-ul-Haq’s new selection committee.
