The head of the Uyghur committee said there was no need for public toilets in the area as there were toilets in people’s homes. Despite this, the government has built toilets there. In 2019, a mosque in Xinjiang was martyred and a liquor and cigarette store was set up there. According to the report, a mosque has been martyred in Hotan city and an undergarments factory has been built in its place.
