Shah Rukh Khan, often referred to as the “King of Bollywood,” has long been admired for his charisma and striking looks. Now, science has affirmed his appeal. A new study, led by renowned celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva, has ranked Khan among the world’s top 10 most handsome male actors.

The study applied the ‘Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi,’ a mathematical formula traditionally used in art and design to gauge physical perfection and aesthetic appeal. Dr. De Silva utilized advanced facial mapping technology to assess the symmetry of various actors’ faces, comparing how closely their features align with the Golden Ratio.

The 2024 ranking underscores that Khan’s appeal extends far beyond India and Pakistan, placing him among the most attractive actors globally. He’s the only Indian actor featured in the top 10, with a facial symmetry score of 86.76%, earning him the 10th spot. His universal appeal across generations is no surprise.

Khan was joined on the list by several international stars. British actor Idris Elba secured ninth place with a symmetry score of 87.94%, while Riverdale actor Charles Melton ranked eighth with 88.46%. Nicholas Hoult, known for his role in The Great, took seventh place with a score of 89.84%.

Hollywood legend George Clooney came in sixth with 89.9%. In fifth place was Dunkirk star Jack Lowden, who scored 90.33%. The Batman actor Robert Pattinson followed closely in fourth with a symmetry score of 92.15%.

Taking third place was Gladiator II actor Paul Mescal, with a symmetry score of 92.38%. British actor Lucien Leon Laviscount, known for roles in Coronation Street and Waterloo Road, claimed second place with 92.41%.

At the top of the list was Kick-Ass and Bullet Train star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, whose facial symmetry score of 93.04% placed him first. His striking features secured him the top spot.

Khan’s inclusion in such a prestigious list further solidifies his status as a global icon, celebrated not only in India but around the world. With every accolade, he continues to bridge cultures and win hearts.

We can’t help but wonder if Pakistani star Fawad Khan was considered for the study, as he surely could have made the cut. Dr. De Silva, we’re looking at you!
