The Saudi Kingdom will partially lift the suspension of international flights from Sept 15, the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom confirmed the news on Sunday. The travel restrictions were imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Now the limits are partially lifted after six months.
The interior ministry further said, “The Kingdom will end all air, land, and sea transport restrictions on Jan 1 next year.
However, The Gulf state citizens and non-Saudis with “iqama” residency permits or visit visas may enter the Kingdom from Sept 15 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, government and military employees, foreign embassy workers, and people requiring medical treatment will also be allowed entry and exit in Kingdom from Sept 15. All of them have to test themselves first, and if their reports are negative to the coronavirus, they can enter the Kingdom.
