The first direct commercial flight between Israel and Bahrain landed on the island of the kingdom. Just after a week, they signed a deal alongside the United Arab Emirates to normalize relations. Flight data showed that an Israir Airlines Airbus A320 landed at Bahrain International Airport after a nearly three-hour flight from Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion International Airport.
On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on the telephone to Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and discussed regional issues and cooperation. Till now, there was no immediate acknowledgment of the flight made from the Israeli government and Bahrain.
