Former Australian cricket legend Dan Jones has died of a stroke in Mumbai where he was working for the IPL. Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones died of a stroke in Mumbai on Thursday. He was 59 years old. Dean Jones was in India to deliver on his promises to the Indian Premier League host broadcasters.

Dan Jones played 52 Tests and 164 ODIs for Australia during his international career, which spanned eight years between 1984 and 1992. He scored 3631 runs at an average of 46.55 with 11 centuries and 14 half-centuries in red-ball cricket. In ODIs, he scored 6068 runs at 44.61 with seven hundred and 46 half-centuries.
