I am the most senior in the leadership of the political people and the army, said Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) while addressing the workers in Sukkur. The people of govt are giving statements every day, sometimes saying that such person of the opposition met, sometimes saying that I met. I am a responsible man, and I do not explain such people; the army leadership should only explain that they speak on their own Or their interpreters. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that if these statements are being made as to the army spokesman, then I have every right to bring all the facts before the nation.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that in this field, I am a senior to these people in politics. He claimed that I am also the most senior in the leadership of the army. When the army chief was a captain, I was a member of parliament. “It’s not that we don’t understand the needs and sensitivities of the country. That’s why I’m not answering. They are irresponsible people who are talking,” he said.
If they are not talking as their representatives, then control them and put a leash on them. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the politician never refused to talk to the establishment. He said that a section of the government was publishing news, this section wanted to fight the army and politicians.
