Terrorists target Pakistani army convoys near Razmak in North Waziristan and Ormara in Gwadar District.

At least 12 security personnel were martyred in two separate terrorist attacks in Gwadar district of Balochistan and North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an explosive device exploded near a convoy of security forces in the Razmak area of ​​North Waziristan, killing at least six Pakistani soldiers, including an officer.

The witnesses include Captain Omar Farooq-24, Deputy Subedar Riaz Ahmed-37, Deputy Subedar Shakeel Azad-44, Hawaldar Younis Khan-36, Naik Muhammad Nadeem-37, and Lance Naik Ismatullah-30.

In another incident, six security personnel also testified when terrorists opened fire on a convoy of Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) on the Makran Coastal Highway in Ormara.

Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

The Prime Minister condemned the incident and demanded a report.

Later, Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the OGDCL convoy’s attack and demanded a report on the incident.

He offered condolences to the families of the security personnel martyred in the attack, praised the martyrs’ services, and prayed for forgiveness for the deceased.

Terrorists have recently stepped up their activities against security forces, especially in Balochistan and North Waziristan.

Last month, a Pakistani army soldier was martyred in an explosion near a security forces checkpoint in North Waziristan District.

In September, three soldiers were martyred. Four others were injured when terrorists targeted a road construction team working in the Gharium sector on Shaga-Nishpa Road in North Waziristan District.

In June, two soldiers testified when an IED hit their patrol vehicle in the former FATA area.
