Islamabad: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that we manufacture 60% of Khalid tanks in Pakistan but could not build a single-vehicle. For the first time in the country, an electric vehicle policy has been introduced.

Talking to media, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that science and technology must be utilized for the development of the country. Furthermore, the first time the Electric Vehicle Policy is going to be introduced in the country. Electric buses will be manufactured in Pakistan.

Fawad Chaudhry said that billions of rupees had been spent on the Orange Line project. The Orange Line would have to pay an annual subsidy of Rs.12 billion. Further, He said within 12 billion, we could provide the vehicle to each home of Lahore.

They import everything and then say that there will be inflation. He said that they would make the electronic vehicle successful in Asia. In a few years, they will compete with India in the electric vehicle.
