Staff training for vaccinating against the covid virus has been completed. The National Command and Operations Center meeting was held under the chairmanship of Lt. Gen. Hamoodul Zaman Khan.
The four provincial chief secretaries, secretaries of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, and health officials gave a briefing in the meeting. It was informed that the training of staff of teaching hospitals, tehsils and district headquarters for vaccination against corona vaccine had been almost completed. At the same time, all necessary steps are being taken before vaccination against the coronavirus.
The NCOC was informed in the briefing that a large number of fines had been imposed on those who do not comply with the SOPs, while restaurants, shops, and business centers have also been closed for non-compliance with the SOPs. All foreign passengers, especially those from the UK and South Africa, are being tested. Passengers who test positive are being quarantined.
The NCOC also consulted on the complete covid vaccination procedure, its availability, and distribution process and decided that the government would keep a record of vaccination staff. Passengers traveling abroad will have to provide a legal document to be vaccinated.
