The SpaceX company, which has emerged in the last few years, has set a new record of sending 143 satellites into orbit with a single rocket. At 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on January 24, 2021, the Falcon Nine rocket booster took off from the Cape Canaveral Space Base as part of the Transporter One mission, with satellites mounted on top of it, just like in the supermarket compartments.
The mission was to be launched into space on December 16, 2020, but five times in a row, obstacles came in the way, with bad weather topping the list. The rocket finally took off, and one minute and 12 seconds later, the Falcon Nine MaxQ came out of range, which is a dangerous period of mechanical pressure. Then the second engine started. After 51 seconds, the payload (satellite) part detached, and the rocket landed on the ground, which can be reused while the first stage of the rocket also made a power landing.
SpaceX has sent these satellites under the Small Set Ride Share program. Their goal is to launch a limited but low-cost satellite into space in a single jump. This makes it easier to work on small satellite projects. The payload included 133 satellites from the US government and private companies and some cube sets and microsatellites.
However, the ten largest satellites belong to the Starlink program, which will orbit the polar orbit and provide global access to the Internet.
