Abid Malhi and Shafqat Mahmood, the main accused in the Lahore Motorway rape case, were indicted.
According to jail sources, a case of motorway abuse was heard in Lahore’s Camp Jail during which the main accused Abid Malhi and Shafqat Mahmood were indicted.
Prison sources said that both the accused denied the charges against them.
Prison sources said that the trial was taking place in the jail as it was a sensitive case.
The 200-page challan was filed in the court a few days ago, with a total of 35 witness statements.
It should be noted that the incident of motorway abuse case took place in September 2020 last year.
The accused had raped the woman in front of her children on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway.
