Due to the number of coronavirus in the country, the National Commander-Operating Center has placed a ban on all kinds of processions for Youm-e-Ali.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the NCOC chaired by Asad Umar, Minister of Planning and Development.
In the light of the risks factor caused by the continuous growth of COVID throughout the country, particularly in major urban centres, it was agreed that all processions should be banned while keeping Majalis under the strict COVID SOPs already in place for Ramazan ul Mubarik,’ read an NCOC statement.
