On May 20, a couple on an Airblue flight from Karachi to Islamabad was caught kissing in public, making some fellow passengers uncomfortable.
“The couple was seated in the first row and publicly kissing each other,” says eyewitness Bilal Farooq Alvi, who was seated behind the couple on seat number 5. The couple was allegedly involved in “immoral activity,” according to Bilal.
“When some fellow passengers protested to the air hostess, she cautioned them, but they continued,” he said. “The air hostess then gave them with a blanket to keep their displays of affection under wraps.”
Before getting off the plane, the couple told the passengers, “You don’t have any right to interfere in someone’s privacy.”

Bilal has also filed a complaint with Airblue for failing to take action against the couple.
