A 5-year-old boy become a victim of sexual abused at a madrassa in the southern Punjab city of Muzaffargarh and was admitted to hospital in critical condition.
According to details, a 5-year-old boy used to go to a madrassa in Mouza Lankaran village near Muzaffargarh for religious education. On the day of the incident, the son of the owner of the madrassa allegedly sexually abused the child.
Police say the boy was rushed to the district headquarters hospital in critical condition, where a medical test confirmed that he had been abused.
Police officials further said that the accused had fled the madrassa. A case of the incident has been registered and raids are being carried out to arrest the accused.
