According to details, the federal government of PTI has reconstituted the Central Route Hilal Committee to end the controversy over the sighting of Shand on important occasions in the country every year.
Representatives from the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Meteorological Department have been added to the committee. Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman was removed from the post of chairman of the committee.
