According to Afghan media, Najeeb Tarakai was in a coma in the Afghan city of Jalalabad three days ago after being seriously injured in a traffic accident. He was operated on at a local hospital, but his life could not be saved.
Najeeb Tarakai’s death announced on Twitter handle by Afghan Cricket Board ۔ The ACB also said that Najeeb Tarakai was undergoing treatment as a result of a tragic traffic accident but could not recover.

Afghan first-class cricketerNajeeb Tarakai began his career in 2014 with a match against Zimbabwe. He represented Afghanistan in one T20, and 12 ODIs. His best score in T20 was 90 which he scored against Ireland in 2017.
