After losing the match till 5 am I was looking at the ceiling of the room thinking that my international career is over, Indian captain.

Indian captain Virat Kohli had said that when he was out against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy match against Pakistan in Centurion in 2009, he felt that his international career was over. Virat Kohli, while talking to Australian batsman Steve Smith, recalled the match due to which he could not sleep all night.

Virat Kohli said that he had returned to the Indian team in the Champions Trophy match against Pakistan in 2009. Virat Kohli revealed that his 183-run innings against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2012 proved to be a game-changer in his career. He said that his career in ODIs is more important to him than his century against Sri Lanka in Hobart. He played against Pakistan in the Asia Cup when he scored 183 runs in pursuit of the target of 330 runs.
