Audi, the German carmaker, has introduced its latest four-door electric coupé, the Audi e-Tron GT. The new electric flagship of the company is manufactured at Audi’s specialized facility in Bollinger Hofe, Germany, alongside the R8 and would cost about EUR 99,800.

Two models of the Audi e-tron GT will be accessible e-Tron GT and the e-Tron GT Quattro—both powered by two electric motors and powered by an 85 kWh battery, equivalent to the Porsche Taycan. The transmission of an e-Tron GT was also borrowed from the Taycans. As both Audi and Porsche are members of the Volkswagen group of companies, the same chassis and battery platform is shared by the e-Tron GT and Taycan.

With 598 PS, the Audi RS e-Tron GT is the most powerful EV ever created by the carmaker, while the e-Tron GT Quattro edition has a peak power of 476 PS. The over-boost mode brings the figure up to 637 hp and 522 hp, respectively, in both models.

In 4.1 seconds, the Quattro version will do 0 to 100 kmph, while the RS model can do the same in 3.3 seconds, both in boost mode. Audi reports that the top speed is limited to 245 kmph for the Quattro trim and to 250 kmph for the RS trim. Audi reports that the e-Tron GT would have a range of 487 kms. The EV will come with 20-inch wheels, while 21-inch wheels will be offered for the RS version.
