Former US President Donald Trump says the Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan was a surrender. We would also withdraw from Afghanistan, but that withdrawal would be by power.
“We would have left Afghanistan but controlled Bagram Airbase, which is an hour away from China’s nuclear facilities,” he said.
The Biden administration also relinquished control of Bagram, and China will now occupy Bagram.
In an interview with American media, Trump said that what the Biden administration did was very embarrassing and disturbing.
The former president said the Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan was “devastating” and that US generals were guilty of trying to persuade Biden.
