Virgin Atlantic, Britain’s second-largest airline, has launched an air operation for Pakistan.

The first British flight carrying 208 passengers arrived in Islamabad from Manchester. Where Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Overseas Pakistani Zulfi Bukhari and British High Commissioner Christian Turner welcomed the passengers and the airline.

On this occasion, Zulfi Bukhari said that after British Airlines, Virgin Airlines is the second-largest airline in the UK which has started regular flights to Pakistan.

The Special Assistant said that the revival of international airlines would enhance trade and tourism ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. He said that the relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom would be further enhanced and the relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom were moving towards strengthening.
