Islamabad Bus Service would receive Rs873 million from the Capital Development Authority Development Working Party (CDADWP) by the end of February of next year.
The private sector would be involved in the implementation of the Islamabad Bus Service project, which aims to operate comfortable buses on several routes.
The bus service would initially run on three routes with no subsidies. Sohan Garden to Faisal Mosque, Bhara Kahu to Aabpara to Faiz Ahmed Faiz Metro Station, and Tarnol Railways Station to M-5 Metro Station are some of the routes that will be available.

Additionally, the Sanitation Directorate received approval for an Rs689-million initiative to upgrade its sanitation system without relying on human labor.
An additional Rs401 million project targeted at improving the machinery pool organization’s (MPO) capacity was also approved. With an investment of 40 million rupees, the CDA would also build and maintain 115 public toilets across the city. The authority will also be responsible for the maintenance of existing toilets.
