With the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 just weeks away, participating teams have finalized their arrival dates, marking the final phase of preparations for the highly anticipated tournament. Pakistan and the UAE are set to welcome cricket’s eight elite squads, with staggered arrivals ensuring ample time for acclimatization before the action begins on February 19.

New Zealand will be the first team to arrive in Pakistan, landing on February 5 ahead of the tri-series, allowing them an extended period to settle into conditions before their tournament opener. South Africa follows on February 7, while Afghanistan will arrive on February 12, aiming to fine-tune their preparations for the competition.

England and Australia, two of the tournament’s strongest contenders, will land just a day apart—England on February 18 and Australia on February 19, heading straight into match mode. Both teams are currently engaged in bilateral series, leading to their late arrival for the Champions Trophy.

Meanwhile, India and Bangladesh will take a different route, arriving in Dubai on February 15, as their initial group-stage matches are scheduled in the UAE. Bangladesh will then travel to Pakistan for their remaining fixtures.

With all teams confirming their arrival dates well before their first Champions Trophy fixtures, the focus now shifts to final preparations and adapting to subcontinental conditions. New Zealand and South Africa, will have the advantage of extra time to prepare, while England and Australia’s late arrival suggests confidence in their well-established game plans.

As the teams settle in, anticipation continues to build for the tournament opener on February 19, where Pakistan will take on New Zealand in Karachi, officially kickstarting the battle for the coveted Champions Trophy title.
