Chief Justice Qasim Khan became angry with the CCPO during the hearing of a case related to harassment of a citizen by CCPO Umar Sheikh in the Lahore High Court.
During the hearing, Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Qasim Khan expressed his displeasure over the attitude of the CCPO and said that where is the CCPO Lahore which was claiming to fix the metropolitan city within 3 months?
The Chief Justice remarked that the CCPO Lahore used to say that the courts take bail, the court grants bail under the law. Nothing is illegal here.
Chief Justice Qasim Khan said that CCPOs are suffering from some misunderstanding, their statements fall under the category of contempt of court which cannot be tolerated. At the same time, the court ordered to investigate all the interviews of CCPO Lahore.
