The Chinese president has warned the Biden administration that the United States should refrain from a new cold war.
Addressing the World Economic Forum, President Xi Jinping said that efforts to confront Beijing and its new economic model could lead to a new cold war.
President Biden had said he would convene a world summit in the first year, to form a front of democracies against dictatorships like China. The Chinese president said without naming the United States that such a move would pave the way for an armed conflict.
