Coca-Cola is testing a paper bottle to completely eliminate plastic from its packaging as part of a long-term bid.
The prototype is made by a Danish company from an extra-strong paper shell with a thin layer of plastic.
But the goal is to make a 100 re renewable, plastic-free bottle that is able to prevent carbonated beverages from escaping. The barrier must also ensure that any fiber melts into the liquid.
