According to sources, the Sindh High Court (SHC) ordered on Friday that all Ph.D. holders be awarded a monthly payment of Rs25,000.
This decision was made in response to a petition submitted by Dr. Liaquat Ali Abro.
The court ordered the Sindh chief secretary to send a report to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah within 15 days to provide all government employees an Rs25,000 monthly payment who hold PhD Degree.
It further instructed that Ph.D. holders working in different departments should be treated on the same footing.
