Gwadar: Customs in operation in Gwadar seized drugs worth more than one billion rupees. According to a private channel, Customs Gwadar raided a truck in Vander and recovered 176 kg of heroin. According to Collector Customs, the value of heroin exported is more than Rs 1.6 billion. Collector Customs Tahir Qureshi said that when an attempt was made to stop a suspicious truck at a police check post in Wander, the truck driver tried to flee instead of stopping.
According to the customs officials, 176 kg of heroin was recovered from the caches during the search of the truck. The heroin and the truck were seized, and an FIR has been registered under the Customs Act.
