ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to re-appoint Fawad Chaudhry as Information Minister. A formal announcement in this regard is expected soon.
According to the source, Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to reshuffle the federal cabinet and Fawad Chaudhry is likely to be made Information Minister in place of Shibli Faraz.
Sources said that the Prime Minister has directed Fawad Chaudhry to take charge of the Ministry of Information. A notification to change the charge of Fawad Chaudhry will be issued soon.
It should be noted that at present Fawad Chaudhry has the pen of the Ministry of Science and Technology while Shibli Faraz is the Senator at that time and he was about to become the Information Minister but now this decision has come to light.
